I don't think they were trying to out-cute each other. But it just turns out that way...

I did have lots of other really nifty pictures. But I managed to leave them on a hard drive with about five hours of life left in it before deleting them from our neat new digital camera. (Yes, this was the camera we bought on the way to the airport specifically so we could take pictures on this trip. And all the pictures were lost with my hard drive. No backups. <sigh>) So, many thanks to Rita and Peter for their fine selection of photographs.
